The focus of this sprint was making the project whole and polishing it where we could. We wanted to have 3 rooms that were connected to the hub through portals, with rigged characters in the HUB, echocave and multibody room. Furthermore, we needed to change the voice input room and do most of the work for the multibody room. This sprint was loaded with a lot of important tasks and we only had about 2 weeks to finish everything.
Honesty, it went quite well. Yes, it took us a while to make the experience whole, but I'm quite content with what we have at the end. We mainly worked from home during this sprint, because of covid measures, but we got a lot of work done. We got most of the important features that we wanted in the experience, sadly we weren't able to get most of the rigged characters in on time. Almost all users were really positive, and most spent between 15 and 30 minutes in our experience! That's quite impressive for a project like ours where we were mainly experimenting with possibilities in VR if I do say so myself. Here's a with the results of the playtest.
The project went quite well, there weren't any big issues in the team. Every now and then we had some design disagreements, but we were able to solve most of them with compromises. It was pleasant to work with my teammates, and I wouldn't mind working with them in the future if our paths ever cross again.
I would describe my role in the team as a developer who likes to be involved in the design process. I was also the one who tried to keep the planning organized by managing our Trello board and I kept bugging the others to use Trello properly. I also kept the flow in meetings and during the daily standup if things dragged on.
