On our first day, we gathered at the Dam square and we were told that we were going on a scavenger hunt. We were split into groups of 4, and were tasked to go to different locations to answer questions on various Amsterdam-related topics. We did that to gather letters that we could use to find out what the sentence that we needed to uncover was.

However there was a twist, we assumed that we would remain in our original group of 4, but you actually only stayed with one other person, and the other 2 were switched two times.

At one of the locations, we were tasked to come up with an XR application that would fit the narrative of the building (Trippenhuis Kloveniersburgwal). We came up with the following:

Our idea is a game consisting of 2 stages. In the first stage, the player will experiment in a lab using many different vials of liquids to create the best fuel to launch yourself out of a canon. Once the player has created the fuel they will enter stage 2 of the game. In stage 2 the player will launch themselves out of a canon to see the city from a bird's point of view. The player has a red jumpsuit on and shoots out of the canon with a lot of power. Once you’re flying you can determine the direction by moving to the right position with your body and arms.

The Zuiderkerk, our first location
We needed to make a picture at a nice location, so we picked out this small bridge with a colorful bike on it.
