XR Testing

I was absent during the afternoon where the Styly prototypes were being tested. However I discussed the general feedback on my peer's projects with them.

I came to the following conclusions:

  • Styly's VR experience is pretty good for for how easy it is to make.

  • Adding sound to your project adds a lot to the immersion of the player.

  • The size of the player was often not correct in relation to other assets in the projects.

The feedback I got on my own Styly prototype (using the Styly app):

  • The island is only interesting from the front side.

  • The island felt quite cozy.

  • I used assets in creative ways (for example I turned a sled on its side to make a wooden fence).
