Temple Owl first made a mind map and after that we came up with the following concepts:
Concept 1:
Magic Mirror, a sort of mirror that would display clothing on your mirrored self so you could see how clothing looked on you without trying it on.
Concept 2:
You’re in another world, all the inhabitants are in the clothes of Shoeby.
Concept 3:
A game where you walk through an environment and you can collect clothes/parts-of-clothes. and there is a picture of yourself (full body) at the top right and every time you find a piece of clothing and put it on, it will appear on that picture.
Concept 4:
You are backstage at a fashion show, the show threatens to go wrong, but you can fix it by playing minigames. At the end, the fashion show starts and depending on whether the mini-games have been performed correctly, the models have the right clothes. The clothing that is shown is of course that of Shoeby.
Alternative: You are getting ready for your first date but you don't know what to wear.
Concept 5:
Where's Waldo? A number of NPCs are walking around with randomly generated clothing combinations. It's up to the player to find the right one.
In the end we decided on concept 5.
