Blender

I already had a little bit of experience in Blender, however the Blender layout had changed quite a bit since the last time that I had used it. So during class, I was mostly focussing on finding out where all the options that I was familiar with were now located.

While learning a bit about Blender I made a palm tree, the UV mapping is quite the mess, because I first made the tree bend and afterward I tried to UV map it. I should've done it the other way around.

PixPlant

Pixplant was completely new for me, it was surprisingly easy to use and quite useful. I didn't know that there was a tool that automatically made looping textures. It is however unfortunate that you need to pay to export the textures using the tool.

I made a jeans texture from a picture that I took of my pants.

I exported the textures and applied them to a material in Unity.
